Chief Instructor Terence Cheah is a World Muaythai Council (WMC) and International Federation Muaythai Amateur (IFMA) certified coach and referee. With 16 years of coaching experience, he was also the Head Judge for Contender Asia and one of the selected few Master Instructors in Singapore. Terence is also the affiliated Head Coach for Hilltop Muaythai which he recognizes as his roots.
Terence is extremely passionate about martial arts in all forms and this is translated in his energy and exuberance in his classes. He is a strong advocate of always learning, attaining his brown belt in Shinkyokushin Karate since Transcendence started and is now trying his hand at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a white belt.

Farhan is bubbly and full of energy. His classes are always playful and light hearted. He is however very serious about coaching and strives for his students to get the best instruction and a great workout.

Sensei Francis is the Dojo Chief for Transcendence Dojo and currently holds a 3rd degree black belt in Shinkyokushin Karate. What originally started as a sport for fitness purpose has developed into a passion and way of life. Sensei Francis’ decade long martial arts training has seen him experiencing kick boxing, Muay Thai and Karate, including competing in local and overseas tournaments. Such varied experience has convinced him that the techniques and training of Karate are practical and useful in self-defense. Sensei Francis looks forward to imparting these benefits to his members, in addition to developing mental alertness, a sense of tranquility, and the confidence to face the adversities in everyday life.

Syed has over 20 years of experience in Aikido. His gentle demeanor is the greatest testament to his chosen art. Syed’s quiet intelligence and warm disposition gives his students confidence in their learning. Syed is also the Founder of Impact Aikido, which emphasizes practical efficiency and robust techniques in both hand to hand and weapons training.
